Richard State was established 17 years ago and our directors Richard and Mandy have lived in the village since the 1960’s. All our team live close by and know the local area in and out having raised children here; we are keen in supporting our local community where we can. Richard

Richard’s estate agency career began in 1985 and in 2005 he took the exciting decision to launch his own business based in the village where he grew up. Through dedication and hard work he has become the local estate agent people are happy to recommend. He has had appearances on BBC’s ‘Homes Under the Hammer’ and ‘Escape to the Country’.

Mandy

Born and raised in New Haw, Mandy has worked tirelessly over the last seventeen years building the business alongside Richard. Whilst raising their two young daughters, Mandy has provided continuous support making the business the success it is today.

Clive

An experienced property professional, Clive has worked in the industry for many years owning his own estate agency and auction house becoming the first auctioneer to hold a live property auction in Surrey. Having known Richard for almost 20 years, he joined the firm in 2019 and shares Richard’s passion for helping people achieve their property goals. Clive has also appeared on BBC’s ‘Homes Under the Hammer’.

Laura

Laura has worked in the property industry for the last 18 years. Having been at Richard State for the last four years, she manages the day-to-day administration, AML and compliance, as well as the marketing side of the business.
